| 09 Drift Nationals - Oran Park 20th September |
| Posted 24.08.2009, 18:54 by MadMan |
 |
Australia's best drifters will head to Sydney's Oran Park Raceway next month to contest the 2009 Drift Nationals.
The Australian Drift Champion will be crowned on Sunday September 20, a one-off event before the Drift Australia Series reverts to a multi-round format in 2010.
Featuring exciting on-track action and extensive off-track entertainment, the Drift Nationals will be the final major event held at the popular Sydney circuit before it closes at the end of the year.
The event will be the first under Drift Australia's new owners, Ninety Degree Entertainment, who acquired the series earlier this year, having previously run the successful Driftfest event at Calder Park in 2007.
Many will remember the infamous DriftFest back in 07, featuring 1:10 scale electric RC drifting brought to you by RC Garage and RCD1.
Get ready for some exciting competitions and rivalry as Australia's best RC drifters battle it out to be crowned official RC Drift king of Australia.
Thanks to RC Garage, Tamiya and HPI, the first battle will begin as RC Garage and Team RCG travel to Oran Park prepared to battle it out with the best Sydney has to offer. Competition will be fierce as interstate rivalry gathers momentum and heats up the day at National RC Drift championship.
For all those interested in attending, admission is free for RC competitors for info go to www.driftaustralia.com.au and www.rcdriftaustralia.com.au (website under construction) or contact myself or email info@rcdriftaustralia.com.au

| RCMH Forum Changes for the better |
| Posted 01.07.2009, 13:16 by MadMan |
 |
We have decided to make a few changes for what we believe will be for the betterment of the rc community. Gone are all the individual club forums for both On Road & Off Road, instead there are now sections for your State only. Within these sections club discussions can continue but will be less localised and more general.
By doing this we hope to cater for a broader group of enthausists with less politics and more fun, after all they are just glorified toys.
The changes will be monitored and can be reverted back at anytime if deemed necessary. However we feel this is a change that is well needed for this forum to be more user friendly and for it's continued grow in our RC community.
We hope you welcome the new changes and continue to be part of the new era of RCMH.
For all those with posts made prior to the changes, sorry for the inconvenience and if you have a particular post you would like to have moved into one of the new catagories please let myself or Mozzy know and we will try to accomodate you as best we can.
Cheers.
